The wedding took place on a beautiful day in late October at Belle’s Venue and Farms in Jefferson, SC. It was high 70’s without a cloud in the sky. (Okay, I probably would have preferred a cloud or two, but it was truly a spectacular day as far as weather is concerned.)
The location at Belle’s Venue and Farms is simply lovely for wedding photography. The owner’s father built much of it for the owner herself for her own wedding day. There are plenty of opportunities for wedding photos, and the lakefront property made it especially nice for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Luckily this bride and groom took full advantage of that. (Here’s another outdoor ceremony I did recently.)
The walls and ceiling were painted white; therefore, It was very easy to capture those light and airy images . Not to mention Belle’s Venue and Farms had monstrous ceilings with beautiful and modern chandeliers.
These classic and sophisticated black dresses complemented the bride’s elegant gown perfectly.
Since these groomsmen were silly and light-hearted, they made my job quite enjoyable.
These were taken at golden hour on the open field at Belle’s Venue and Farms.
Perhaps my favorite part of a wedding day are capturing those detail shots! Here are some highlights from the day.
These are some of the more fun images I captured throughout the day. I was enjoying playing around with my shutter speeds – slowing it down for blurry photos like the bridal party and the heart made from sparklers; and using quite a fast shutter speed for the groomsmen throwing up the groom.
Lastly, here are some classic moments captured in black and white.
A special thanks to Sydney Jane Photography for allowing me to photograph this beautiful wedding.
