A Family Photoshoot with Good Friends

I will start off by saying I am very good friends with this lovely family – we share a mutual cousin so we’re more like family! This was a quick shoot and I had a lot of fun with them, but my children being present threw me for a loop.

My children ask me all the time if they can come with me on a photoshoot. For obvious reasons, I tell them, “Not this time.” However, on this particular day, I was already at this location all day long with my children and other friends. So when the time came for me to sneak away and take some pictures, it became obvious very quickly that my daughter was going to be tagging along.

We also used to live right across the street from each other, so my children felt a little too comfortable blending into their family portraits. I wish I didn’t delete the other picture I have of this shot (pictured below), but if you can imagine it – my daughter is also sitting on the log just a few feet away (in her neon colored bathing suit).

Christina and Rob were amazing and even let me guide them threw grassy dunes with spiky balls that stick into your skin if you walk through them! It was worth it and we got some amazing shots.
