Rockaway Beach Family Photographer – Marano Family

Meet Kim, Zack, and Tucker. We met on the bay in Roxbury, New York two hours before sunset. I was looking for that dreamy golden light, but in hindsight, I think these overcast family portraits worked better for us.

We tried to get some photographs of their dog, too, but he wasn’t really having it. There were too many interesting things for him to sniff out. So while Zack ran him back to the house quickly, I was able to focus on mama and one of the cutest one year olds ever.

I was really, really excited to photograph this beautiful family! Like really excited. I’ve been studying photography for years, but this was my first family session. It was light and breezy and I couldn’t have asked for better circumstances. I’ve been hard at work photographing other families and working behind the scenes to build my website and social media.
